I’ve been thinking about writing for a long time, but couldn’t figure out how to get started. Then I read an article about writing by Scott Young, “Five Steps to Becoming a Better Write” on Pocket. So what the heck, I took his advice and set up this blog. Now that I’m semi-retired, I have a lot of time to think. And let me tell you, the only thing worse than a retired grumpy old man, is a retired grumpy old man who used to be an engineer. Back in college, University of MD, BSME 79, MSAE 89, a professor in my senior year told the class that we would be learning our entire life. And darn if he wasn’t right. So I’m still learning, only not so much about engineering, and I’m finding a lot of stuff that doesn’t make sense to me. So I plan on mentioning it. Hopefully, someone will read this and show me what I’m missing. That’s all for my first post. I’m proud I finally got off my backside and started this.
