I’m leaving for a 10 day trip to France tomorrow. Why now, why France? My former son-in-law is on sabbatical from UMCP and got a 3 month gig there. My granddaughter’s school let out this past week so my daughter is taking my granddaughter to spend July with her father and invited me along. This should be fun.
We leave Sunday night out of Dulles airport and will arrive Monday morning. I didn’t have to plan anything. My daughter, Paula, set it all up. We are visiting the louvre and the Eiffel Tower, some castles in the south of France and then driving to Normandy. Our base is the city of Orleans. More to come.
