I started the day with a visit to the Pfister Hotel. This hotel was in an episode of Happy Days where Richie meets a girl at the bar who is traveling around the world and invites him to come along. I took a picture of the bar. Then I went to the fonz statue on the river front. Milwaukee has a very nice river walk. Then I went to the Pabst mansion and went on a tour. In terms of size, it’s not as big as the mansions in Newport, but the interior woodwork was much nicer. Then I went back to the hotel to rest and recharge my phone.
It was afternoon and I was hungry. I went down to the market. They had some nice stuff but I passed on shipping anything home. I found a restaurant and got some very good hard cider and a burger. Then it was back to the hotel. I had walked 6.6 miles and was done for the day.
